Samadhi Yoga is a yoga and natural therapies centre in the heart of Newtown, Sydney, Australia. Join us for yoga classes, yoga teacher training programs, special events and guest teacher workshops. We offer yoga classes in a range of styles suitable for all from beginners to advanced students and from restorative yoga to dynamic vinyasa practice.
 Our last day for 2008 will be Tuesday Dec 23rd and then our first day back for 2009 is Monday Jan 5th, with our new timetable not changing over the summer break. Click on the timetable link to check out which class you would like to come to.

We are moving (but not just yet …) you may have noticed there is a rather large ‘For Lease’ sign on our building, but do not worry we will be moving to a lovely new space just down the road … and not for a few months (we will keep you posted!)… So in the meantime please keep coming to all your usual classes and we thank you for your support.
Celebrate Christmas with us ... we will have our end of year celebrations on December 7th, come early for the Charity Op Shop bargains and then join us for the first ever Yoga Film Fest!! We will end the night with some chanting in honour of peace and new beginnings, we hope to see you there! No booking required $5 on the door all money raised goes to charity.

Samadhi Yoga Teacher Training Start 2009 with a wonderful new life direction, you can choose an accredited course to suit you... the weekday four week intensive runs from 27th January to 22nd February. The Samadhi Yoga Mentoring Program The level two mentoring program is designed to give individual attention to new teachers as well as those wanting to reinvigorate their established teaching practice. The 2009 program will begin February 2009, YTAA accredited click here for more info.
The Yoga of Birth is a pregnancy workshop for expecting mums, yoga teachers and birth care professionals. Yoga is often described as being both a ‘path of effort’ and a ‘path of grace’. This model of understanding spirituality is the perfect metaphor for the realm of conception, pregnancy, childbirth and parenting in the first year. February 2009 click here for more info.
Donna Farhi (pictured right) will return to Samadhi for another insighful workshop, this time on the theme of Spinal  Intergration. In this intensive we will explore the anatomy, kinesiology and functional movement of the spine, learning how to practice Yoga postures with greater efficiency and thus less strain on the back.
